No two days are the same here. Every morning looks different. At the same time, the wide variety that comes with the nursing profession is always a huge challenge. In Germany, approximately 1.7 million nursing professionals provide care for about 3.3 million people in need of help and support. They are an indispensable element in our health care system; especially having in mind the demographic change and the growing number of people in need of care. Very often, these people do not receive the appreciation they deserve.

Join us in #HANWAGCARES

Care with us and win: Among all participants of the #HANWAGcares campaign, we are giving away five exclusive shoe care sets including a resoling voucher.

With our #HANWAGcares campaign, we want to set an example – an example for ‘good care’ and the people behind it. For more appreciation, recognition and respect for this work, which is an indispensable pillar in many societies. Together with the non-profit organisation wohlBEDACHT e.V., we are launching an initiative at the beginning of the Advent season. Would you like to join us in supporting the association and its staff and honouring their work?

Here is how you can take part:

  • Post a picture of you cleaning or caring for your hiking boots on Instagram between Nov. 28 and Dec. 19 (doesn’t have to be a HANWAG boot). And use the #hanwagcares.
  • Of course, you can also participate via the Instagram story format and simply tag us with @hanwagofficial.
  • For every published article, we support the non-profit association wohlBEDACHT e.V. with 5 € (up to 5 k€).
  • All participants who contribute an Instagram feed post can find their posts on our #HANWAGcares gallery.

In the gallery: inspiration for your post

For example, you could post a picture of you caring for the leather of your hiking boots.

Or you show how you impregnate your hiking boots.

Shoe care can be a lot of fun and very easy. We look forward to your creative contributions.

Of course, shoe care also includes cleaning. Show us! And don’t forget: set the #HANWAGcares.
